MICKY FINDS A PET HUMAN

We all love a good story, and most of all one about the community we live in.
Nelson born author Debbie Wastney sure knows how to tell one.
After working as a primary teacher for over 20 years she was inspired to write her own children story featuring a heartwarming tale about a local SPCA rescue dog called Micky.
Micky is a Labrador / Whippet and was abandoned as a puppy, but then rescued by local musician Bryce Wastney – who happens to be Debbie’s brother.
The story is the first in a series of books that embraces the adventures and mishaps of dog adoption.
Debbie is proud to say this book is 100% created in Nelson.
If you love a positive message, animal stories and have young children, this book is a must have.
The response had been incredible seeing the books fly off the shelf.
