Nelson Young Professionals July Updates!

NYP have had a huge few weeks! Our June Monthly Drinks saw over 100 young people turn up to the Sprig & Fern on Hardy Street to socialise and extend their networks. This regular event is growing month on month and we are seeing this trend across our other events too.

On July 3rd we hosted our first Intepeople Professional Development Session. We had Sean Thomas of Tima Consulting share his wealth of knowledge on workplace behaviour and communication with us. This was extremely entertaining however he issued a true challenge to us regarding our leadership style and they ways we can get the best out of the people we work with.

Make sure your employees benefit from the series and encourage them to come to the 2nd PDS event on the 31st July, better yet sign them up as Corporate Members and they can come for FREE. We Have Paul Bell from Intepeople talking on the topic of Pay and Performance – having the hard discussions and understanding the performance-based pay model.

Want to sign your staff up to become NYP Corporate Members? Email us on nelsonyoungprofessionals@gmail.com. $50 per head is the best investment you will make to help your young staff make meaningful and lasting connections, keeping them engaged and passionate about our region.
