We are happy to announce that our pygmy marmoset, Inti (on the right) gave birth to twins on the 30th of September!
Twins are very regular amongst pygmy marmosets, which is why tight-knit families are so important. Carrying will be the responsibility of father Peru (left) and big brother Tunche. Inti in this picture is nursing one twin while Peru holds the other. Aside from nursing, at this age the only thing the twins have to do by themselves is hold on tight!
